A.C Milan have been given a significant injury boost ahead of our Champions League last 16 match at the San Siro on Wednesday evening.
Kevin-Prince Boateng, Alexandre Pato and Alessandro Nesta have all resumed first-team training and will face late fitness tests, while goalkeeper Christian Abbiati has been passed fit and will almost definitely start between the sticks.
Mathieu Flamini is also back in full training, but will not be available to face us as he is still a few weeks away from full fitness. Flamini picked up a serious knee injury in pre-season and is yet to feature for the Milan first-team this season. Mario Yepes, Alberto Aquilani (on loan from Liverpool), Gennaro Gattuso and Antonio Cassano are also sidelined.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who was sent off against Napoli for slapping Salvatore Aronica in an off-the-ball incident last week, and Mark Van Bommel will both be in contention for a place in the starting XI as their domestic bans obviously don’t apply to European games. Ibra has scored 21 goals this season and provides an unbelievable physical presence, so he is definitely one to watch.
The Italians haven’t got past the round of 16 since they won the competition in 2007, and will be itching for a home win. Even if Pato isn’t past fit, then Milan still have Robinho to partner Ibrahimovic; they are not exactly short of attacking options. It is going to be a tough game, but I still think that we can get an away win.

I agree, we should be too stronge for AC. I predict 1-2 result to us.
Lets not go to far. Its AC Milan. Draw and scoring goal will be great. But it will be nice if we get away with win.
