Another leaked photo of Arsenal 2012/13 home kit

Arsenal fans have flocked to Twitter to give their opinions after a worker at Nike apparently leaked yet another picture of what is thought to be the new Arsenal away shirt for the 2012/13 season. This comes only a few weeks after somebody leaked a different photo which shows the Arsenal, Manchester United and Barcelona home kits.

The first thing that you will notice is the horrible coloured hoops at the bottom of the sleeves. There are some who, based on the first image, had suggested that the hoops on the sleeves and around the neck are in fact not black but a very dark navy blue. However, it is very clear from this larger image that they are clearly black. There are also many fans who have been complaining about the fact that we seem to be wearing black socks, which is not at all in keeping with the traditional red and white socks.

Not all the comments on Twitter are particularly positive. The general consensus is that the kit is pretty tacky, with speculation that these are faked images because Nike could not possibly design something that looks that bad. For example, one person on Twitter said: “Looks Like I’m only Buying the @Arsenal away Shirt Next Season… The Home Kit Is tooooo Terrible #HandsOverEyes”. However, I would still advise buying the home kit (if it is the home kit) over the away one. As crude as the new home kit is, if leaked pictures are anything to go on then the away shirt will be quite a bit worse.
