Arsenal away shirt 2011/12 leaked

Some more photos of the strange Arsenal away shirt have been released. These pictures show the colour that previously seemed to be cyan as a slightly darker shade of blue. The two blues are less contrasting than we had thought, which does make the kit look less startling and more retro.

The two blue shades occupy each half of the shirt, with a diagonal line separating the colours.

The logo is the commemorative of our 125th anniversary, as we saw on the home kit.

We have already shown our readers leaked photos of this away kit here, along with a look at previous Arsenal away strips.

What do you think of the kit? In my opinion, if this is the away top, I’ll be far more likely to go for our home kit this season. This away strip is not only unusual for The Arsenal, but it is a bit of an eyesore! Many people consider Nike kits to have worsened in recent years, whereas other brands like Adidas and Puma have got a lot better at making attractive kits. Perhaps Arsenal should choose a different kit company in the future…

If the jersey were to be Red and White, it would look like an Ajax shirt. lol. But i’m liking this though~

Would be ok if it was West Ham kit but not for The Arsenal. Our away shirt should ALWAYS be yellow by tradition, not Sh***y white, Not any shade of blue. I agree change our manufacturer. Don’t mess with our traditional colours, we are THE ARSENAL

What about during the ‘Invincibles’ season, arguably one of the greatest seasons in arsenal history…
What was the kit colour then???

i like it, the shirt looks good but if like in other leaked pictures the shorts and socks are the lighter blue then i dont think that looks right, the shorts and socks should either be the dark blue or a mix or both…

have to say the first time i saw this kit it was a no but the more i look at it i really begin to love it and i have decided its one of the most interesting away kits i have seen in years. we have clearly broke the traditional yellow away kit but don’t you think it would be a bit boring? any way we have broke that tradition so lets hope that we break another tradition in not winning a trophy for 6 years and counting! TBH anyway i don’t mind what top the teams wears as long as a trophy comes along with it that all i care about……up the gunners

Arsenal will need to sell : Almunia, Bendtner, Denilson, Rosicky, Diaby (Maybe, but I think he is good), Squillaci, Eboue (maybe, want to keep him aswell), Clichy (even though he is very good) and last Cesc Fabregas. Fabregas wants to leave, and it would be good for both sides. Arsenal will get a big amount of money, plus Cesc will be happy to join his home land. This is just my opinion though. I also think that we should put Theo Walcott on top of our position, and maybe play with two strikers. Van Persie is an excellent passer, and with Walcott’s pace it will maybe work out. Then we also get an open spot for Gervinho in our team. Players I would like Arsenal to buy, that is (within our reach): Chris Samba, Chamberlain, Gervinho, Jose Enrique then the rest is up to Arsenals manager, Arsene Wenger. The captain replacement for Fabregas, is not hard to choose at all. Thomas Vermaelen, he is extraordinary at the pitch, and always talk, making the right decisions. He would be the best captain! As said this is just my opinion.

Whats happening,we don’t want to splash out on a quality central defender, defensive midfielder, and striker.Ticket prices up 6.5 per cent. Now the fans are asked to pay 40+ pounds for something from Primark.HOME SHIRT ONLY FOR ME THIS SEASON.

I actually quite like it. It looks south American or maybe eastern European, which is probably why we have gone for it as we have a large fan base there. changing the kit maker wouldn’t do anything, the club decides which kit we wear not the manufacturer who just come up with designs.

Remember you are only being asked to buy this crap no one is forcing you. personally i think there is something weird about anyone else wearing replica football kits other than if you are playing football or you are under 12. I wouldnt be seen dead in one espcially one that looks like wycombe wanderers. THen again i get the opportunity to waste my money going every match home and away not every body gets that chance or wants it. if it floats your boat buy it.

Terrible shirt… we can’t even get a proper kit these days. Well, at least our comedic squad will have equally comedic kits.

    WENGER OUT!!!

    Shirt is great! Cool design.
Dan aka the truth. Arsenal is run better than any club in the premier league. Other managers marvel at MR Wenger’s abilities to form excellent teams within a sensible financial framework. Soon all clubs will have to operate this way….we already do. Other owners would kill to have him. Other fans begrudgingly admit to the beauty of our football. People like you don’t care about the future of the club or try to understand it. We are so lucky to have him…respect him.
