Arsène Wenger has given an injury update ahead of tomorrow’s Premier League game against Fulham. The big news is about Jack Wilshere, but Wenger also updated us on injuries to Carl Jenkinson and Kieran Gibbs.

Jack Wilshere

“He is progressing like somebody who has just had surgery six weeks ago. Very well, very good. We have to assess him again in two or three weeks. He is working very hard at the moment, he is working in the gym and he works hard.

It’s too early [to say when he will return to the squad]. A target could be the beginning of 2012. When I say that, I mean the end of January/February. Something like that.”

Carl Jenkinson

“Jenkinson is at least three weeks away.”

Kieran Gibbs

“Gibbs is out for maybe four weeks.”

Thomas Rosicky

“We lost Tomas in training [before facing Borussia Dortmund], he has a small thigh strain.”

Abou Diaby

“It was good to see him back and little quicker than we had thought. He has worked very hard with the medical team and fitness coaches.”
