Arsenal vs Norwich: Official starting XI

Arsenal has named the official starting XI & substitutes to face Norwich in today’s late kick-off. Ideally, we need to take the full 6 points from games against Norwich and next week’s home match against QPR if we wish to put ourselves in a good position ahead of Manchester United in two weeks time.

On the bench, we have Martinez, Djourou, Coquelin, Wilshere, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Arshavin and Gnabry. I don’t expect Wilshere or Gnabry to get any minutes unless this becomes a comfortable game for Arsenal.

If past results are anything to go by then expect lots of goals this afternoon. Our last five games against Norwich have produced a total of 25 goals.

Injury news:

Laurent Koscielny (back), Theo Walcott (chest), Kieran Gibbs (thigh), Wojciech Szczesny (ankle) and Abou Diaby (thigh) are out. Lukasz Fabianski (ankle) is set have surgery on ligaments in his ankle and will be missing for another three months. There is no mention of Bacary Sagna, who has recently returned to first-team training following a long-term injury.

Predicted score

Norwich 1-3 Arsenal
