Emmanuel Frimpong has previously stated his desire to be a Gunner for his entire career. He has shown determination and desire on the pitch in his few appearances in an Arsenal shirt, and there is undoubtedly plenty of promise surrounding our young star.
Frimpong’s heated discussion with celebrity Gooner Piers Morgan shows that he has a fiery temper – Piers told Frimpong that he needs to “calm down” and our young midfielder fired insults at Morgan in retaliation. You’ll be glad to know that they are good friends now. Frimpong tweeted the following two days ago: “@piersmorgan Ur my bestest Friend If I ever score ill dedicate it to you 
*hugs*.” He is almost like a fan – his tweets show full support for Arsenal, not to mention his hilarious reply to Jack Wilshere:
Like most Arsenal fans, Frimpong has shown disdain towards Nasri given his acrimonious departure, even when his mate Wilshere gave support to our departing Frenchman.
On the other hand, two of our former stars have delivered parting blows to the Emirates faithful. Samir Nasri seems pretty happy to have left Arsenal, because he must have had a really tough time at the club. He speaks of Arsenal as if he barely played, the fans hated him and his career went downhill the moment he signed for us.
Nasri said the following about us, the fans:
“The (City) fans are really passionate. It reminds me a little of Marseille. Arsenal have good fans but not so passionate since they moved to the Emirates from Highbury.”
Fair enough, he’s allowed to have his own view on the matter… but hang on, didn’t Nasri join in 2008? And didn’t we leave Highbury in 2006? Hmmm. Also, I’m pretty sure Samir ignored the awesome atmosphere during some of our great games last season – Man Utd, Tottenham (yeah we lost, but the fans were amazing), Barcelona, Chelsea etc. But even if our support isn’t up to Nasri’s standard, why should he have a go at us the moment he leaves? And why compare the fans to the Highbury era that he never even witnessed?!
Further to that, Samir mentioned his appreciation of the Man City fans when we thumped them 0-3 last season. Yep, that was the game in which he scored the opener and celebrated like a madman. And yet, he uses that match as a reason to move to City! Odd.
“I remember when we played against City, when we lost 3-0, the crowd was amazing. That is what I want. When you play football it is for a good atmosphere.”
He says “you play football for a good atmosphere.” Change atmosphere for wages and then it makes more sense.
Nasri also spoke of his frustration that the move to City took so long. Again, he was saying he was desperate to leave – not something that will endear him to the Arsenal fans.
However, the real sting in the tail with this whole scenario can be summed up by one picture. Another ex-Gunner is said to have lured Nasri to City, and that ex-Gunner’s affiliation with the Manchester club must rile a lot of our fans. He is an Arsenal legend, so I just don’t understand why he is working for City! Probably the money actually…

most players dont have real allegiance,,,its a career for them after all, so you cant blame them for improving their life. It makes the attitude of Robin Van Persie all the more praiseworthy. He loves arsenal and its not a money issue for him. These city “stars” will have a few good years, (if they keep their place in the huge star-filled squad), but wont have the enduring respect and support the genuine fans will have for RVP. Wenger should listen very carefully to RVP when all he requests is a few quality players to join the club.If RVP leaves the club then you know for sure the club is rotten as he wont move for money like the feeling many of us have about the reason why nasri left.

Nasri is a traitor. As for Fabregas, I disagree. He’s a gunners alright, but with a barca DNA. Have you read the news when he was asked about how he feels knowing that Arsenal are through to CL. He kept saying “WE” instead of “THEY”. If he came to Emirates, i will surely give a standing ovation for him, just like I did for Henry. As for Nasri, I will definitely “Adebayor” him. Opportunist or not, arsenal is a team that gets lov and support from its fans, despite the 6 trophyless years, we still are behind them no matter what, yes we are frustrated that it is taking 2 long 2 gt back 2 d glory times but it is expected bcus one, this is arsenal one of the best clubs in the world and for a team of such calibar it is suprising dat we have gone six yrs without a trophy.so if nasri says we are not passionate then he is greatly mistaken and shld be ashamed dat he wud say dat 2 fans who had made his career wat it is 2dy as for vieira u r not deemed 2 be called an arsenal legend if u wud stoop so low 2 breaking arsenal strength by persuading nasri 2 come 2 man city and if this is bcus of money the 2 frenchmen are not 2 be called real footballers period.
to me,let forget about fab and nas.they had a good playing time at arsenal,they should qiuckly be reminded of hleb,adebayour and flamini they are all better off but turn out to be loan object,the only thing to me is that arsene should strengthen the team wit quality.
Never cared for Viera when everyone else did, he wanted a move away from Arsenal a couple of seasons before he left as well. Another one who was ruled by money. Wasn’t shocked he picked city over us as again money. Nasri stalled on coming to Arsenal to begin with due to wages so not surprised he left. Frimpong and Wilshere are Arsenal through and through, they are not the same as those two. Cesc was in my view is not a legend either and did not have the clubs best interest at heart it he would have stayed for another year, at least should have been 2 more though really. Henry left but I feel he regrets that now and that was for personal yet confused reasons.

People realise that talk is just that, talk. Saying what others want to hear seems to be the norm instead of saying what one really thinks, which is then called “unprofessional”.
Realise that being “professional” is about lying through your teeth, and this is in all areas of life.
Money is what is important to players when they reach 40-50 and if the choice was money or medals, i guarantee you all would choose money. Medals are just the bonus for doing their job.
So all this talk about wanting to win things is not really that important, especially if you go to a successful club that is on a winning streak, or a club that has enough to pay you high wages, it is all talk really.
