It could be not be clearer that Ricky Alvarez wants to play for Arsenal next season. The deal seems more and more likely every day. Those who follow him on Twitter (which I imagine is not many of you because he tweets in Spanish…) might have seen the message in which he prays that the transfer will be completed soon.
“I would love to play for Arsenal, it would be a dream for me. I just hope to god that it is realised.”
A tweet from the Dodici Corporation (Alvarez’s agency) then confirmed that their client will be playing for one of two clubs next season:
“The future of Ricky Alvarez? Inter or Arsenal.”
I think it is pretty obvious which club would be Ricky’s first choice, but would he be a decent signing by Arsène Wenger?
I am unsure whether we can replace two of the best midfielders in the world with a player who is yet to prove himself in Europe. If we lose Nasri and Fabregas over the summer (which is very possible) then Alvarez will most likely be thrown in at the deep-end next season. He will need time to adjust to English football and Wenger still needs at least one world-class signing before the end of the summer.

I ‘ll be very happy, if wenger can secure his signature.
c’mon alvarez….u can do it!
Ricky is good, check him on youtube, although “in arsense we trust” but he should wake up and browse the internet… He is too stingy that I dont think he subscribes for even cheap internet…Damn!!!
Some Argetineins take very well to the EPL (Ardillas and Tevez) some are not so dependable.
I do feel with his physique, he has the credentials to make it big, Lets hope it happens and then the London bright lights dont distract him from his football.
Let us give him a trial
It will be a good for arsenal if that stupid coach sirning ricky avares.

well come Alvarez at emirate u will fit.
Ricky will b a great player at arsenal but I think wenger should hold on to cesc and nasri…he can’t afford to loose them both if he wants to win trophy…we need to strengthen the bench as well not just the 1st eleven…thanks
Alvarez will do very well in England, just wait and see
personally i think wenger is a very unserious manager. Here listen up, it seems that the only thing he and arsenal’s owners are interested is how much they can make from the sales of players, not really interested in the quality of players coming in. How i’d love arsenal to be relegated next season but oh the club i love really? Not my wish but mr wenger is annoying me.
I think we have good squad let fab and glichy go but Keep little prince (nasri) he has magical feet
Wenger should bring in Gervinho /eden hazard/karim benzema/alvarez and a good left back to replace
Glichy ,don’t see too many good left backs today as for gibbs same like glichy always backtracking when being attacked
By opposition and good defender like sergio ramos from madrid that should be a fine team to get started cos we also need depth
Due to injuries
