[Video] Top 5 Arsenal goals vs Chelsea

Seeing as we are playing Chelsea this weekend, I decided to dig into the archives and find what I think are Arsenal’s top 5 goals against The Blues under Arsène Wenger.

The goals are in chronological order, not in any particular top 5 because they are all too good and I couldn’t pick a favorite.

Nigel Winterburn

Chelsea 2-3 Arsenal

September 21st 1997

Winterburn’s only goal of the 1997/98 season really was something very special. I am aware that because of the lighting you can’t really see the ball, but just bear with it.

Nwankwo Kanu

Chelsea 2-3 Arsenal

October 23rd 1999

Kanu’s 90th minute goal completed a 15 minutes hat-trick and a successful comeback at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea 2-2 Arsenal

6th September 2000

Ray Parlour

Arsenal 2-0 Chelsea (FA Cup Final)

4th May 2002

Ray Parlour scored the opener 20 minutes from time in the 2002 FA Cup Final at the Millenium Stadium. Truly one of the most underrated Arsenal players of all time.

Freddie Ljungberg

Arsenal 2-0 Chelsea (FA Cup Final)

4th May 2002

10 minutes after Parlour scored the opener in Cardiff, Lgungberg did this:
