Ryo Miyaichi has impressed in pre-season, and when he was on loan at Feyenoord. The young Japanese winger joined Arsenal for pre season training, but it is still unsure whether or not he will be able to play for Arsenal next season. Ryo needs to obtain a work permit before he can stay in England and play for Arsenal. He has currently been unable to obtain this permit, and hence, he was unable to play in the Emirates cup. This is because the Emirates cup is a tournament that is sanctioned by FIFA, and hence, Ryo could not play. Arsene Wenger says that he wants Ryo to play for the first team next season, and has said that he is working on getting him this special talent visa that would enable him to play for us.
“My plan is to get a work permit for him and to put him on the pitch for Arsenal Football Club,”
I for one, hope that Wenger is successful in doing so. Ryo is a player that I have taken a liking to. His pace and skill are qualities that would see him flourish in the Premier League. Ryo is an out and out winger, so his arrival could see the much anticipated migration of Theo Walcott from the wing to a more central role. This, in my opinion, is where Theo should be playing.
His step overs have given him the plaudit of being the next Christiano Ronaldo. If he becomes half the player that Ronaldo is, I will be happy. It is quite remarkable, that a player of his age, in his Arsenal debut, had the confidence to try out such skills. He obviously has a lot of self confidence for a player so young. Hopefully his work permit will be accepted, and we will be able to see him leave opponents in his wake next season.

why this hassle wherever ARSENAL are concernd, i cant remember chicarito having to go on loan when he signed for utd,but i forgot, they are utd.
he already can do the step overs at the same speed as ronaldo lol
cant wait to this this boy play.
I wud luv to see rio play for arsenal dis season, the guy is good.
there is a difference between hernandez and miyaichi, this is that miyaichi is only 17/18 and very inexperienced with only 6months worth of professional football and no international experienced. hernandez was 21/22 with international experined and a few years club experience.
does anyone know when the work permit hearing is??
no, arsenal are a pi55 take. fuc4 cesc and pi55 off to barca
this lad is damn a whizkid i can’t wait to see him play for us this season
There is no need whatsoever to be putting him in the same sentence as Cristiano Ronaldo right now
had the pleasure of watching him play against Malaysia last mth.
even the Malaysians were cooing over this kid.
he seems even faster than Walcott … this i kid you not!
its refreshing to see him beat defenders instead of the usual pass-when-any-sign-of-opponent looms.
he ran the Malaysian defence ragged!
The guy is good i will be very happy if he can the work permit.good luck
Rio is a great player,he will bring some changers in the term
i pray God that dis boy ‘rio’ will b able 2 make arsenal proud.
As 4 him 2 b d next ronaldo well there is no doubt about that he can do it if he believes
i wil be happy if dis young talented player cn play 4 arsenal as cristiano ronald do .
He hasn’t enough caps to warrant a work permit. Walcott is better on the Wing than in his preffered position. So is Nasri. I would have preferred to see Nasri go to Manchester and with us buying Mata with the cash. He’s there for the buying, he’s chosen our club above others and now Nasri decides to wind down his contract and go to Manchester on a free next Summer anyway???? The player will play with zero commitment on the pitch this coming season and then leave. Why is a penny pinching scrooge just throwing away 20+ Million??? Where the hell is Kroenke? This guy can over-rule Wenger and sell Nasri to any rival he wants. ffs. We need a central defender, a left back if Vermaelen isn’t being put there and we need Mata. No, I won’t sanction the sacking of Wenger, he hasn’t done anything to deserve it … but when we drop out of Europe or look like we have no chance of winning the league or any other competion for much of the season, I will be reassessing the worth of Wenger. It’s like he’s doing a reverse of Ferguson at United. That Jock went 10 years or so before winning anything. Wenger started of winning and then, after 10 years of mixed fortunes, he’s going for a 10 year trophyless period – with the blessing of the board.
Come next Summer, when Nasri walks and there’s no Champions League revenue, bringing the clubs combined losses in the region of 50Million – Wenger won’t have the same licence to practice his idea of economics. I know he has a Masters Degree in Economics, but I have a diploma in Bricklaying …. does it mean I can build a house?
i tought this was going to be about hazard…the next ronaldo? wow…he is fuckin good, i cant wait to see him but unless he becomes more skillfull and stronger ..
